As the only African team in the Enugu Centre, Burkina Faso expect football fans in the Coal City to rally round the team.
The German Coach of the Burkinabes Rainer WILLFELD said they are here to represent Africa to the best of their ability, “because we are one of Africa’s representatives we expect soccer fans in Enugu to rally round us and we will not disappoint” he said.
Burkina Faso will play Turkey in the first match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.
Meanwhile, two Advanced Life Support Ambulances (ALS) have been delivered to the medical unit at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
The ambulances arrived in Enugu on Wednesday and the medical team took charge of them on Thursday.
