AC Milan of Italy midfielder Nnamdi Oduamadi hit the Ajao Estate camp of Nigeria’s Olympic Team on Tuesday afternoon.
The player who was sensational in the 1st leg game against Equatorial Guinea three weeks ago was full of smiles on his arrival.
“I am happy to have gotten clearance to feature for my country and I will give my all in Monrovia against Liberia,” the youngster said.
Similarly, Kano Pillars Midfielder Wasiu Showememo arrived at the camp of the Olympic Team late on Tuesday to take the number of players in the camp to 21.
Still being expected are Heartland’s Chibuzor Okonkwo who should fill the vacuum created by the exit of Blessing Anyanwu to the Flying Eagles.
Meanwhile, the team had their first training session at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos on Tuesday.
Head coach, Austin Eguavoen who over saw the session that lasted a little over 50 minutes charged his wards to remain focused for the game against Monrovia.
“I want to say again congratulations to you boys but remember that there is another task ahead and we must remain focused to ensure that we keep up the tempo,” Eguavoen said.
The team will train twice on Wednesday before heading for Monrovia on Thursday.
