President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari and the General Secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu have settled down in Zurich, Switzerland ahead of the 61st FIFA Congress holding on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“We have just entered the hotel now and other delegates (Presidents and General Secretaries of other National Associations), observers, guests and media people are all around here. It’s very busy and you get the feel of the occasion right here and now.
“Certainly, we look forward to a fruitful Congress on Tuesday and Wednesday. The NFF President and myself will return to Nigeria immediately after the Congress to perfect plans for the Super Eagles’ trip to Ethiopia for the African Nations Cup qualifier taking place in Addis Ababa on Sunday”, stated Amadu.
The FIFA Congress is a congregation of representatives of the National Associations affiliated to world football governing body, FIFA across the world and is the biggest convention of the world body.
