The Super Eagles of Nigeria, who arrived Niamey on Sunday night resumed training in Niamey on Monday for the encounter against Mena of Niger on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the team will train at the venue of the match, Stade Gen Said Kountche in the Niger capital named after a former Niger Head of State.

The stadium seats up to 40,000 fans according Niger Football Federation officials who are also using the game to prepare for its crunch Nations Cup duel against Guinea Conakry September 8.

It was also gathered that the Mena will be parading up to five foreign based professionals who were expected on Monday from their various clubsides in France for the encounter, as the team hopes to use its full arsenal against the Eagles made up of entirely local based stars.

Nigerian boss, Stephen Keshi has said despite the friendly nature of the encounter, he expects his wards to acquit themselves well on Wednesday.
