Yoseph who is the team leader of the Ethiopian national team and an executive
member of the Ethiopian Football Association says they will qualify for the
World Cup rather than Nigeria.
Yoseph
told naijafootball247.com that his players have trained well for the last
twenty days and his optimism has hit the roof tops.
“We
will win. In football, you know anything can happen. We lost at home because we
made mistake not because Nigeria played better than we did,” Yoseph said.
“In
Calabar on Saturday we have a group of players determined to make a name for
themselves and we believe we will come out victorious.”
The
Ethiopians came into Calabar with ninety people, made up of forty two players,
coaches and other back room staff, forty members of the supporters club and
Ethiopian FA members.
They
also have three performing artistes as part of their delegation.
