Nigerian born Sudanese striker, Kelechi Osunwa has left El Merriekh in the
Sudanese league to Thailand.

Osunwa
told naijafootball247.com that he has now teamed up with Bec Tero Sesana in Thailand.
“I
signed a two year deal,” Osunwa told naijafootball247.com.
Established
in 1992, Bec Tero Sesana are also known as the Fire Dragons and play in the
Thai Premier League.
They
won the Thai League in 2000 and 2002 and have finished 3rd on six occasions,
also finishing 2nd twice.
“It
was a good deal for me. One that I appreciate after so many years I have spent
in Sudan.”
Born
on October 15, 1984, Kelechi Osunwa played for Dolphins from 2003- 2005 before
he moved to Sudan’s Al Hilal where he played from 2006-2008.

In
2009 he joined rivals, Al Merreikh until last week when he signed for Sesana.
Osunwa
was member of the Nigeria’s under-23 national team at the All Africa Games in
2003 and also played for the senior Nigeria national football team at the 2004
LG Cup in Tripoli, Libya where he got two caps.

  1. Kelechi Osunwa is a player who should have featured MORE for Nigeria in the early 2000s. But our selection being what is was had him on the outside looking in.
