Crown get paid ahead of Sharks battle

The management of Crown Football Club has off-set bonuses of players and officials of the team ahead of the game against Sharks in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

The Chief Operating Officer of the Club, Tony Rafua says the naira-rain is a motivational mechanism towards achieving a good result on the road to Port Harcourt this weekend.

“Motivation is a powerful tool that can achieve enigmatic results in the game of football and that is exactly what the management has done to the team,” Rafua said.

Crown is placed 3rd on the log with 6points from two wins against Heartland and Dolphins.

In their road trip against Lobi Stars, they lost 1-0.

Meanwhile, midfielder, Femi Ajayi insists they are ready for the Port Harcourt challenge.

“I just want to assure the management of the team that the trip to Port-Harcourt will be a fruitful and result-oriented one,” Ajayi said.

“The players have already agreed to work together and defend our position on the log by putting up a good show in Port Harcourt.

“Sharks is a good side in all ramifications but Crown too after posting good performances in the last two fixtures has no phobia for any team,” Femi Ajayi said.
