General
manager of Nigerian National League side, Sonni Uboh, says the new
camp facility built for players of the club is one that will be ‘an
envy to NPFL sides.’

The
state of the art camp, located within the Kridera Hotel Stadium
complex serves as base for all registered players of the club and was
completed prior to the commencement of the current campaign.

Considering
that many clubs in the country cannot boast of adequate camps for
their players, Uboh sees the completion of the facility as a huge
achievement for the Omoku-based side.

We
built a club camp close to the Krisdera Hotel Stadium that will be an
envy to NPFL sides,” Uboh told Naijafootball247.com.

It
is very rare to find a camp that provides good facilities for the
players to relax.”

Go
Round have been on a fine run of form this season, winning six of
their ten matches and currently sit third on the Southern Conference
table with nineteen points, two behind leaders Bayelsa United.

They
are also the joint-highest scoring side in the conference with twelve
goals and Uboh believes that the club’s fine form may not be
unrelated to the high level of comfort the players have enjoyed at
the camp.

They
have a special sitting room that sits twenty five people, twenty-four
hours electricity and fully air-conditioned rooms. Beside it is a gym
and a swimming pool at the Krisdera Hotel, which the players have
easy access to, so the atmosphere has provided the natural
environment for the players to excel.”

Go
Round will next be in action this Saturday when they host Abia Comets
at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium in a MatchDay 11 fixture.
