We can beat Nasarawa Amazons, says Bayelsa Queens coach

Bayelsa
Queens coach, Ayebatonye Amabebe knows their opening fixture in the
Nigeria
Women
Premier League (NWPL) Super 4 against Nasarawa Amazons is tough but
believes
his side have what it takes to beat the 2013 league champions.

The
coach was bullish when asked about the their chances at the Samuel
Ogbemudia Stadium next Tuesday.

It
will definitely be a tough game,” the new Bayelsa Queens boss told
Nwfl.com.ng.

But
we have our game-plan so I think it will be equally as tough for
them. Certainly no-one would have liked to have started the Super 4
with a fixture against Nasarawa Amazons,” he reiterated.

I
am privileged to be working with a great group of players – a group
that are more than worthy of competing with Nasarawa Amazons.

He
then concluded by explaining what he expected tactically from the
Lafia outfit.

They
are a good team, and we know the characteristics of their game. They
are excellent in every facet of their play, but I am more focused on
what we can do.”

The
2017 NWPL Super 4 is scheduled to take place from 11th to 16th
September in Benin City.
