Nasarawa United will have Ibrahim Osanga as new chairman after nine years under the leadership of Danladi Isaac.
The government of Nasarawa State have confirmed Ibrahim Osanga as the new chairman of the Club with immediate effect.
Ibrahim Osanga is the father of former youth International, King Osanga.
In the nine years that Isaac Danladi was club chairman, Nasarawa United played in the CAF Confederation Cup twice even though they failed to win either the League or Federation Cup.
In 2016, Nasarawa United got to the final of the Federation Cup, losing to FC Ifeanyi Ubah 5-4 via penalty shoot outs. Full and Extra time ended 0-0
Last season, Nasarawa United finished 4th in the Abridged League group.
Danladi Isaac is currently chairman of the Club Owners Association and it remains to be seen what becomes of that role.
