Joe Aribo says he is delighted to score for Nigeria again and for the team to get a draw against Brazil.
Five-time World Champions, Brazil forced Nigeria to a draw, 1-1 in Singapore on Sunday, with Aribo drawing first blood for Nigeria in the 35th minute after he went past two players, Casemiro and Thiago Silva to shoot past Ederson for the opener.
Brazil equalised in the 48th minute and then Nigeria held on for the draw.
“Tough game against a top Brazil side,” Aribo wrote on his twitter after the game.
“Team put in a shift till the end. Delighted to have got a goal! Thank you to all the supporters that came out tonight and also everyone supporting worldwide!” the Rangers man tweeted.
Aribo who is playing only his second game for the Super Eagles scored on his debut against Ukraine in September.
Aribo joined Rangers in the summer from Charlton Athletic.
