TS Galaxy are in Aba for a game against Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round with the South African lower League side buzzing with confidence.

Captain of the side, Ludwe Mpakumpaku told NigerianFootballer.com that they expect a very competitive game against the Nigerian champions.

I do not know anything about Aba, but we expect a very competitive game because we are playing against a highly rated team in the continent,” Mpakumpaku said.

TS Galaxy play in the National First Division in South Africa, the second tier of their league and are in the continent after they won the South African Cup, surprisingly beating Kaizer Chiefs in the final.

The captain explains that they did not know they were going to come this far at the start of the season last term.

“At the start of the season, we were not even focusing on the Cup we only started seeing the possibilities when we were playing the Cup and we gained more confidence as we won games and progressed.”

Now they have played four games in the CAF Confederation Cup and their confidence is growing ahead of the game against Enyimba.

In the two games that we have played, the experience has been challenging considering the fact that we have a young and inexperienced side but in the same breath a very good way for us to gain the well-needed experience.

We cannot tell how far we can go in the Confederation Cup so all that remains to be seen, but of course we want to qualify for the group stage and represent South Africa well.”

Ludwe Mpakumpaku has been on the books for TS Galaxy for two seasons and says their target is to get to the top division, the Premier Soccer League.

The most important thing we want to achieve this season is to get promoted,” he explained.

“Our fans have been great and we must continue to thank them for their continuous support. We also promise to give them the best always when we play.”

TS Galaxy will arrive in Nigeria on Friday and Aba on Saturday morning for the game that will be played at the Enyimba International Stadium on Sunday
