In the Aftermath of their crashing out of the CAF Champions League, Enyimba have intensified preparations for the Cup depending on the outcome of the draw on Wednesday.
Enyimba gaffer Usman Abd’llah made this known while speaking exclusively to NigerianFootballer.com
“The team will be departing Aba for Otta in Ogun State for closed camping to enable us to prepare for the game, but the outcome of the draw will determine if we are coming back to Aba or traveling from there to the match venue,” Abd’llah told NigerianFootballer.com.
Key players, Stanley Okorom and Ghanaian Left Back, Daniel Darkwar were taken off with injuries during the last game against Al Hilal, the one that knocked Enyimba out of the Champions League.
Abd’llah told NigerianFootballer.com that they are monitoring the situation.
“Stanley Okorom is back to the team and should be available for selection for the upcoming match but Darkwar is out with a hamstring.
However, we have players who can play well in that position,” Abd’llah said.
He also expressed a lot of optimism saying the team will give their all in the CAF Confederation Cup.
