League leaders Plateau United survived a late penalty to earn a point at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium against Dakkada FC, thanks to a superb save from goalkeeper Chinedu Anozie.
The save was crucial to Abdu Maikaba and his boys as it proved to be the match saver for the Jos-based side.

Dakkada had a goal disallowed in the first minute of the game. Moses Effiong firing in a pin-point cross from Spenser but was cancelled out by the assistant referee from the far side for an offside.
Plateau United also registered the same scene, but their disallowed goal was for a handball as the striker used his hand instead of his head to direct the ball past Vincent Edafe.
Coach Abdul Maikaba led-side showed the reason they are top of the log as they failed to open the game, allowing Dakkada FC to try long balls, knowing too well they could match the challenge.
Dakkada had few goalscoring opportunities with their very first sight on goal coming in the 72nd minute when Spenser tied-up Left-back Imo Obot but the defender went for power instead of accuracy, firing straight into the gloves of the goalkeeper Anozie as he parried it away for a throw-in.
The draw means that Dakkada FC are still fourth on the log with 29 points, heading into an all-important Orange derby against City rivals Akwa United on Wednesday
