It was another painful ending on Wednesday as we were let down by ONE “unfortunate team” who vitiated our Midweek Straight Wins ACCA.

A more careful edit, as we always advise, could have taken out the unfortunate KF Vllaznia. We won’t give up, we keep going!

Traditionally, Friday ushers in a weekend of football frenzy across the world, and this Friday is not different as thousands of football matches are scheduled to take place around the world.

The focus, however, will be in Italy where the final fixtures of the 2019/2020 Serie B season take the center stage.

Nigerian footballers are also in the thick of actions on the final day with varying hope and ambition.

Nigerian forward Simeon Nwankwo is expected to lead the attack for Crotone when they take a trip to Erice to take on relegation threatened Trapani at Stadio Polisportivo Provinciale.

This is a do or die tie for Trapani who need the maximum 3 points to have any hope of making the Serie B Play out. While Crotone have already secured automatic Serie A qualification in 2nd place behind Benevento, Trapani are seated in second to the bottom spot with 41 points, and a win will put them on 44 points, with the hope that Cosenza play out a goalless draw  at home to another Serie B Playout hopeful Juve Stabia.

Trapani remain unbeaten at home since January, and also enjoy a perfect home record against Crotone [P3, W3].

Meanwhile, at Stadio Arechi in Salerno, Salernitana will be playing host to Suleman Abdullah and his Spezia teammates. The visitors have already secured a Promotion Playoff spot, while the host require a win to have any hope of leapfrogging Frosinone for the final Promotion Playoff spot.

Salernitana have won their last three home encounters with Spezia.

It’s also the final day of actions in the Austrian 2.Liga where Ugochukwu Oduenyi’s Ried will be fighting to secure the only automatic qualifying spot ahead of Austrian Klagenfurt. Both teams are tied on points at the top of the table going into the final matchday.

Leagues in Switzerland, Ireland, Norway, Belarus  are not left out of action with some interesting fixtures lined up for this Friday.

Amidst these exciting actions across Europe, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Home/Away Wins ACCA Special.

We are backing the awesome favorites to triumph in the 8 selected matches. These selections have been made based on the teams’ current forms and  best available head to head stats.
