There are plenty of midweek football actions taking place across Europe and Africa, including the 2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL 21) which enters its fourth week today.

The focus will be on the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano where the multiple NPFL champions Kano Pillars entertain the reigning champions Plateau United in what is the biggest clash of the season.

While Kano Pillars are unbeaten in their opening three matches of the season  (W1, D2), the visitors have recorded some mixed results (W1, D1, L1). Pillars enjoy a formidable home record against Plateau United winning four of their five home encounters (D1). Plateau United have not lost any away encounter since their 2-1 defeat against Sunshine Stars in Akure exactly a year ago.

Another match of interest is the clash between Enugu Rangers and FC Ifeanyi Uba at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. While Rangers seem to have cut the corner on their recent poor performance, the visitors are still struggling to find the right balance.

Elsewhere, in the English Premier League, there is a rescheduled London derby between Ola Aina’s Fulham and Tottenham Hotspurs taking place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A much-changed Tottenham team made light work of non-league Marine in the FA Cup on Sunday, and Spurs’ 5-0 triumph on Merseyside was their third victory on the spin and their fourth in five assignments overall.

With key players like Harry Kane and Son Heung-min well-rested, Tottenham look favourites to dominate from the off against Fulham tonight. José Mourinho’s men have been solid here this term, and are unbeaten in 12 of their last 13 competitive home fixtures (W9, D3, L1 – 90 mins).

After a winless December (D4, L1), Fulham remain in the bottom three, albeit with games in hand over their relegation rivals. This is a tough way for them to return to league action, as they haven’t scored 2+ goals against Spurs in 13 PL H2Hs (W1, D2, L10) and have lost a PL-record 13 straight London derbies!

Amidst these exciting actions across Europe and Africa, we have carefully picked a few matches in this Home Wins ACCA Special.

We are backing the odds-on home favorites to triumph in the 10 selected matches. These selections have been made based on the teams’ current forms and  best available head to head stats.
