Enyimba international defender Emmanuel Anyanwu on Tuesday left the camp of the Olympic team for the U20s, the Flying Eagles camp in Port Harcourt.

He has to join the U20s as they gear up for the Africa Youth Championships that starts in South Africa.

Anyanwu who played the right full back position in the Olympic Team’s 4-1 win in Malabo over Equatorial Guinea has expressed confidence that his team mates will do Nigeria proud in against Liberia in the All Africa Games qualifiers this weekend in Monrovia.

“I may be leaving but I will always say a prayer for them,” Anyanwu said.

“There is no cause for alarm as this team (Olympic) has great players and I believe they will win in Monrovia,” he said.

The Flying Eagles are currently rounding up preparations for the AYC and are set to depart Nigeria on Friday for South Africa.
