The club is domiciled in D/Line, one of the colorful axis of Port Harcourt City. Formed in 1994, the club is known for its tiki-taka style of football to entertain fans.

The lads from D/Line United are tutored by coach Iniobong Thompson who utilizes the 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 formation and loves to use the full-backs to wreak havoc.

At the end of the last campaign, they were the mid-table finishers. D/Line will bank on the experience of coach Mpaka George who was previously with Port Harcourt City FC, and now part of their technical crew.

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Captain of the side, GodGift Ogo is a player to watch out for in this exciting league season. His versatility in midfield and defense is a bonus while he performs the leadership role in the fiercest of manners.

D/Line United does rely on wingers that have the pace to create goal-scoring chances and that can awesomely be done by Inyang Edet who is a right-full-back. He was nominated in last season’s ‘Young Player Award’ category.

Another pivotal player is the former Port Harcourt United midfielder, David Ekpobari who played a yeoman role to assist last season’s second-best goalscorer, Godknows Ikpe. Ekpobari can be relied upon to deliver when the chips are down.

Have your say. We'd love to know what you think.
